The allowance is shared with Grok and refreshes weekly; top-offs can be bought when it runs out. Third-party models in Cursor are billed separately at API list price with optional spending caps. Cursor is a desktop code editor for macOS, Windows and Linux built around coding agents: they edit multi-file projects with repository context, run in parallel on cloud machines, review pull requests on GitHub and can be driven from a CLI or Slack. The model menu mixes its own Composer models with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI models. Its maker Anysphere was bought by SpaceX in 2026 and the plans were rebuilt around a usage pool shared with Grok: Free, Plus at $8 (Grok models only), Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 a month, Teams from $30 per user, with third-party model usage metered separately at API list price.

Still the editor most teams reach for when they want agents working inside a real IDE, with cloud agents, PR review and a CLI under one login. Since the SpaceX purchase the price list has been rebuilt around a usage pool shared with Grok: the old $20 Pro plan is gone, the cheapest tier only runs Grok models, and anyone attached to Claude, GPT or Gemini now pays for those separately at API list price.
