AICodeConvert

Useful for exactly one thing: getting a rough port of a short snippet into a language you do not write, without signing up for anything. The unusually wide language list, including dead and esoteric ones, is what sets it apart from the coding assistants. Beyond a screenful of code it stops being useful, and there is nobody named behind it to ask when it breaks.

  • No account, no card, no install — paste and convert
  • More than fifty languages, including legacy ones most tools skip
  • Second mode generates code from a plain-English description

Cons

  • No company, terms or contact published anywhere on the site
  • Snippet-scale only, with no project or file handling
  • No API and no way to script it

Cursor

The default choice for developers who want agentic coding inside a real editor, with cloud agents, PR review and multi-model access that large engineering orgs have already standardized on. The catch is the bill: agent-heavy use runs past plan allowances and overages are billed in arrears, so costs need active monitoring.
