The default choice for developers who want agentic coding inside a real editor, with cloud agents, PR review and multi-model access that large engineering orgs have already standardized on. The catch is the bill: agent-heavy use runs past plan allowances and overages are billed in arrears, so costs need active monitoring.

devlo's angle is that the agent lives in GitHub rather than in an editor you have to adopt, so it can raise pull requests, review them and pick up tickets in the place the work already happens. At $19 to start it undercuts most seat-priced assistants. The weak point is transparency: the site is a JavaScript shell with no company name, country or team behind it, and the credit-to-task conversion is unpublished.
