Use tool ↗About Lyro AI Agent
Lyro is the AI agent inside Tidio's customer-service platform: it scrapes a shop's help content to build a knowledge base, answers questions in the chat widget and connected channels, carries out Smart Actions such as order-status lookups, lead qualification and ticket routing, recommends products to shoppers and hands off to a human when it cannot answer, learning from the agent's reply. It runs on Anthropic's Claude and Tidio's own models, connects to Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce and Shopify, and exposes an OpenAPI-documented REST API, analytics API, webhooks and a widget SDK. Every account gets 50 Lyro conversations free; beyond that the agent is sold standalone from $32.50 a month for 50 conversations or bundled into Tidio's paid plans. The operator is Tidio LLC of San Francisco, with Tidio Poland in the group.

Pros & cons of Lyro AI Agent
For a small store already on Tidio's chat widget, Lyro is the cheapest way to get a bot that answers from existing help content and escalates cleanly, and the 50 free conversations let you measure its hit rate before paying. Costs scale per conversation rather than per seat, which is fine at low volume and gets awkward fast for a busy shop, and the headline prices are annual-billing figures.
Pros
- 50 free Lyro conversations on every account, so the agent can be tested without a plan change
- Answers only from supplied content and escalates to humans, learning from their replies
- Smart Actions for order status, lead qualification and routing, plus product recommendations
- Public REST and analytics APIs, webhooks and a widget SDK
- Connects to Zendesk, Intercom and Salesforce, not only Tidio's own inbox
Cons
- Per-conversation pricing: Lyro standalone starts at $32.50 a month for just 50 conversations
- Headline prices are annual-billing equivalents; monthly rates were not rendered on the pricing page
- Lyro Connect for external helpdesks needs the Plus ($300+) or Premium plan
- The vendor's 75% resolution-rate figure is a self-reported average with no stated method
Best for
- Small e-commerce teams on Shopify or WooCommerce already using Tidio chat
- Support teams that want a bot restricted to their own help content with human handoff
- Stores with a few hundred support conversations a month who can predict volume
Not for
- High-volume support operations where per-conversation billing outruns a seat-based helpdesk
- Teams on another helpdesk who do not want to route conversations through Tidio
Watch out: Conversation tiers (50, 100, 150 up to 1,000 a month) are priced in a calculator rather than a list, and the Starter plan's 50 Lyro conversations are a one-off, not monthly; listed in some catalogs under the older name Tidio Lyro.
