Scans receipts, invoices and bank statements into categorised expenses and pushes them to QuickBooks or Xero.
SparkReceipt is a receipt and invoice tracker aimed at freelancers and small companies. You photograph a receipt, forward it from Gmail, Outlook or IMAP, or bulk-upload up to 100 documents at once, and it pulls merchant, date, tax and line items into a categorised expense ledger. Bank statements can be parsed the same way. Reports export to PDF, Excel and CSV, and the data syncs into QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zapier and Make; accountants can be invited into the account. Built by a Finnish team in Tampere trading as Valorbyte, and sold as a single Elite plan rather than a tier ladder.
One Elite plan: $99.99/year, or $16.65/month on monthly billing, with a 50% first-year discount shown on the site. Extra users are $58/year each. Seven-day trial; no permanent free tier.
Use tool ↗Does the boring part of bookkeeping well: email capture and bank-statement parsing mean you are not photographing every document by hand. The catch is that there is one plan and no free tier, so it is a commitment from day one.
Watch out: The $8.33/month headline is a discounted annual rate; month-to-month billing is $16.65.
