ScanRelief is a Windows and Mac desktop app that watches a folder of receipt and invoice photos or PDFs, sends each one to an AI vision model, and renames the file using the vendor, date, and amount it reads off the document. It then compiles the results into an Excel report so totals can be checked against a bank statement. It is a solo project by Dutch software engineer Hans van Dam, sold through his company uxx.ai, as a one-time perpetual license discounted to 9.50 euros from 19.50 euros. A one-week trial is free, and ongoing use also incurs a small per-receipt OpenAI API cost paid separately by the user.
