Scans, categorizes and syncs receipts from photos, voice notes or a Chrome extension across devices.
Receiptix is an expense tracker that pulls line-item data off receipt photos, voice notes, or manual entries, then categorizes the spending and builds visual reports that sync across devices. It targets everyday budgeting rather than corporate expense management: travelers, freelancers, students, roommates and small business owners tracking groceries or shared costs. Beyond the phone and web apps there is an Apple Watch app, a Chrome extension for capturing online receipts, and bots for WhatsApp and Telegram. It is run by Reciptix LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales.
Free tier covers basic scanning and categorization. Pro removes the expense limit and adds shared Projects, custom tags and detailed reports, but the price is only shown on the in-app upgrade screen, not on the public site.
Use tool ↗Receiptix covers the everyday-budgeting side of receipt scanning well, with capture options (photo, voice, WhatsApp, Telegram, a Chrome extension) that go beyond a typical scan-and-categorize app. The downside is that Pro pricing is hidden until you're inside the app, so you can't compare cost before signing up.
Watch out: The free tier caps the number of trackable expenses before Pro is required.
