A single-task tool priced like one: $9 buys 20 icon generations outright with no recurring charge, which suits the actual usage pattern - you need an app icon once, then not again for a year. Having an API is unexpected at this size. It is clearly a solo project, with a personal email as the only support channel and no company entity behind it, so plan for the possibility that it disappears.
