Use tool โAbout Vibe Kanban
Vibe Kanban is an interface for planning and reviewing work done by AI coding agents. You write issues on a kanban board, start a workspace for each one, and an agent such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cursor works on its own branch with a terminal and dev server. You then read the diff, leave inline comments that go back to the agent, preview the running app and open a pull request. It starts with one npx command. The company behind it, bloop, shut down in April 2026 and the project continues as community-maintained open source under Apache-2.0.

Pros & cons of Vibe Kanban
A practical way to run several coding agents side by side without losing track of which branch is doing what, as long as you accept that it is now maintained by volunteers rather than a funded team. It suits developers who already use command-line agents and want a board and review layer on top.
Pros
- Works with ten or more coding agents, so you are not locked to one
- Each task gets its own git worktree, which keeps parallel agents from colliding
- Inline diff comments feed straight back to the agent
- Open source under Apache-2.0 and runs locally with one command
Cons
- Hosted team features such as shared issues and organisations were removed after the shutdown
- Future development depends on community maintainers and no published roadmap was confirmed
- Needs separate, usually paid, accounts for the underlying coding agents
Best for
- Developers juggling parallel tasks across Claude Code, Codex or similar agents
- Solo builders who want a local, no-account planning and review loop
- Teams comfortable depending on a community-maintained open-source tool
Not for
- Teams that need hosted shared boards, SLAs or vendor support
- Anyone who does not already have a coding agent installed and signed in
Watch out: The company behind it, bloop, announced its shutdown on 10 April 2026. Remote services were wound down after 30 days and the app moved to a fully local architecture, so export anything you kept in hosted projects. The site still displays the old pricing tiers.
