Munder Difflin
Munder Difflin is MIT-licensed and free at its core: the clones cost nothing beyond whatever Claude Code, Codex or Gemini plan you already pay for, and the orchestration, task board and memory are in the free app. Pro sells a different interface and local dictation rather than gating the multi-agent part, which is unusual for this category, but it is one person's project and all sales are final.
Pros
- Core harness is free, open-source, and MIT-licensed rather than a gated trial
- Runs locally on macOS, Windows and Linux, so code and keys stay on the machine
- Coordinates twelve established coding-agent CLIs instead of building a new one
- Pro is a fixed-term payment that never auto-renews
Cons
- Built and maintained by one developer with no company behind it, a real continuity risk
- Paid licences are non-refundable
- Agents stop when your machine sleeps; remote control and hosted sandboxes are not out yet
