Grammar, tone and rewriting help inside every app
Grammarly underlines spelling, grammar and tone problems as text is typed, working through a browser extension, desktop apps and phone keyboards rather than its own editor. The free tier covers corrections plus 100 AI prompts a month; Pro raises that to 2,000 and adds rewriting, plagiarism checking and AI-text detection. Since October 2025 the product has been one of three under Superhuman, the renamed parent that also owns Coda and Superhuman Mail.
Pro is $12/month only on annual billing ($144 up front); month-to-month is $30, about 2.5x. The free tier's AI allowance is 100 prompts a month against Pro's 2,000 per member, and Enterprise is quote-only.
Use tool ↗Still the default for catching mistakes inside other people's software, but the free tier has quietly become an AI-prompt meter and the honest price is $30 unless you commit to a full year.
Watch out: The $12 figure is annual-only — month-to-month is $30, and the free trial converts automatically unless cancelled.
