Use tool ↗About Avoma
Avoma joins calls across the common conferencing tools, records and transcribes them with speaker labels, and turns each meeting into structured notes that can be pushed to the CRM without manual entry. Beyond note-taking it sells scheduling and lead routing, plus conversation- and revenue-intelligence modules that score calls against a playbook, coach reps and roll deal signals into forecasts. Those intelligence layers are priced as separate per-seat add-ons rather than bundled, which is where the invoice grows. It is a browser product with API and webhook access, aimed at sales and customer-success teams rather than general note-takers.

Pros & cons of Avoma
Avoma covers more of the revenue stack than a plain meeting recorder, taking a call from scheduling through transcription and coaching into forecasting. The catch is modular pricing: the advertised seat price buys only the meeting assistant, and the intelligence modules that justify the platform are billed separately.
Pros
- Scheduling, recording, notes and CRM write-back in one subscription
- Free viewer and collaborator seats keep non-recording colleagues off the bill
- API and webhooks for exporting meeting data
- In market since late 2017, with HIPAA compliance available on Enterprise
Cons
- Conversation and revenue intelligence are extra per-seat add-ons
- Startup tier caps at 25 paid seats, forcing an upgrade as teams grow
- Enterprise requires a 10-seat minimum on annual billing
Best for
- Sales teams that want call notes landing in the CRM automatically
- Managers who need call scoring and coaching rather than just recordings
- Customer-success groups tracking account health from meeting content
Not for
- Individuals wanting a cheap or free personal meeting recorder
- Teams that only need a transcript and no CRM or coaching layer
Watch out: Stacking the two intelligence add-ons onto a Startup seat can roughly triple the effective per-user cost compared with the headline $19.
