Use tool ↗About Claap
Claap is a French meeting recorder built for revenue teams rather than general note-taking. It joins Zoom and Teams calls, captures VoIP and face-to-face conversations through a mobile app, transcribes in over 100 languages, and pushes structured notes, deal scores and field updates into HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Pipedrive or a custom CRM. Managers get call scorecards for coaching, and there is a Claap API plus an MCP endpoint so other tools can query the call archive. The company is now part of the lemlist group. A free Basic tier caps you at ten videos and 300 minutes in total; paid plans start around 24 euros per user per month.

Pros & cons of Claap
Most meeting recorders stop at a summary; Claap's point is the CRM write-back, with deal scores and structured fields instead of a transcript you have to re-key. MCP access to the call archive comes with every plan, which is rarer than it should be in this category, though the REST API is now reserved for Enterprise.
Pros
- Writes structured notes and deal scores into HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio and Pipedrive
- Captures in-person meetings through a mobile app, not just video calls
- Transcription across 99+ languages on paid plans
- MCP access to the recording archive on every plan, including free Basic licences
Cons
- The Claap API is limited to the Enterprise plan; lower tiers get MCP only
- Free tier is a trial in practice: 10 videos and 300 minutes in total, not per month
- AI credits are metered separately from recording minutes
Best for
- Sales teams that want call notes landing in HubSpot or Salesforce automatically
- Managers running call reviews against scorecards
- Teams recording in mixed settings: video calls, phone and face to face
Not for
- Solo users who only want a transcript
- Teams that need REST API access without an Enterprise contract
Watch out: Pro and Business are credit-limited at 500 and 1,000 AI credits a month. Heavy summarising will hit that ceiling before the recording cap.
