v0 is Vercel's app-building agent: describe a product or paste a screenshot and it produces real React/Next.js code with Tailwind and shadcn/ui, wires up backends, fixes its own errors and deploys to Vercel. It moved from v0.dev to v0.app and grew from a UI generator into a full-stack tool for founders, product managers, designers and engineers. A free tier includes $5 of monthly model credits; paid plans start at $30 per user/month with credits included, and the same engine is available programmatically through the v0 Platform API with per-token model pricing.
