What our research says

Durable

Aimed squarely at trades and local services that have never had a website, and honest about it — the generated site is a competent one-page brochure, not a design. The reason to pay is the CRM, invoicing and booking bolted around it; judged purely as a page builder it loses to the free tiers of the general-purpose tools.

Pros

  • The free tier is a genuinely usable live site, not a time-limited preview
  • Custom domain registration is included in the paid tiers rather than billed separately
  • The 15% annual discount means month-to-month is not punitively priced, unlike most tools here
  • CRM, invoicing and scheduling in the same subscription remove two or three other bills

Cons

  • The free CRM stops at ten contacts, which any working business passes in a fortnight
  • Generated sites share a recognisable structure, so differentiation has to come from the copy
  • No API and no export path, so the site and the customer records live where they were made
  • Even Grow, the top self-serve tier, meters the assistant and image studio at 5,000 AI credits a month

hilm

hilm is a narrow, sensible bet: a website builder that treats Arabic as the first language rather than a translation, aimed at small Gulf and Egyptian businesses who share their site on WhatsApp. The free tier is enough to get a page live today; Pro is cheap, but the AI editor is in beta and several Pro features are still marked 'soon'.

Pros

  • Arabic-first templates with a built-in Arabic/English switch
  • Free plan publishes a real site with no card and no time limit
  • Pro covers up to three sites and a custom domain at $5–10 a month
  • AI edits are previewed and undoable, and unknown details stay as visible placeholders

Cons

  • Sharara AI is in beta and only on Pro
  • Contact-form inbox, Google detail editing and legal pages are still marked 'soon'
  • Terms and privacy policy were published as drafts not yet in effect
  • Operator's country not found on the site

Which one fits

Choose Durable if you need

  • Service businesses going from no website to a live one in an afternoon
  • Sole traders who want contacts, invoices and a booking link in the same subscription
  • Anyone who would otherwise pay an agency four figures for a five-section brochure site

Choose hilm if you need

  • Small businesses in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Egypt that need an Arabic and English site quickly
  • Owners who will build and edit from a phone and share the link on WhatsApp
  • Freelancers wanting up to three simple bilingual sites on one cheap account
