Overview

About Duet

Duet is the product Aomni, Inc. now sells under a new name: instead of account briefs for sales reps, it is a platform where a consultant or other specialist trains an agent on their methods and hands a copy to each client or team member, each in a separate workspace, with improvements to the shared agent reaching every copy. Each agent gets an always-on machine with a browser, app hosting, scheduling and connectors to Gmail, Slack, Notion and similar tools, and can use models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. Plans are priced by monthly credits rather than seats, from $20 a month for 20 credits, with a seven-day trial and no free tier; a documented API covers sessions, files, memory, integrations and publishing. The company is a Delaware corporation reachable only by email.

Editorial verdict

Pros & cons of Duet

medium confidence

The Aomni sales-research product our card described is gone; what duet.so sells today is a way to package your own expertise as an agent and hand it to clients, each in a workspace you still control. That is a sharper idea than another general agent builder, and credit-based pricing with unlimited seats suits a consultant deploying to many clients. It is also a pivot by a small company, so expect the product to keep moving.

Pros

  • Client-specific workspaces with a shared agent that updates everywhere at once
  • Unlimited seats on every plan; credits are the only meter
  • Models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google included rather than bring-your-own-key
  • Always-on machine with browser and app hosting per agent
  • A public API with workspace-scoped keys

Cons

  • The pivot is undocumented on the site, so older reviews and listings describe a different product
  • Twenty credits a month on the entry plan is a thin allowance for an agent that drives a browser
  • No free tier, and Enterprise terms are negotiated by email with a founder
  • No company address, only a Delaware governing-law clause and an email

Best for

  • Consultants and agencies who want to deliver a repeatable method to several clients as a working agent
  • Small teams that want one agent shared across people without per-seat fees
  • Builders who want an API over the same agents they run in the UI

Not for

  • Sales teams looking for the account briefs and sequences Aomni used to sell
  • Buyers who need a free tier or a published enterprise price

Watch out: aomni.com now redirects to duet.so; if you signed up for Aomni's free Starter tier for account research, that plan and that product are not what is sold here.
