Use tool ↗About Uplinq
Uplinq keeps a small business's books current rather than closing them once a quarter: bank and card feeds are categorised automatically, reconciled monthly, and reviewed by US-based accountants before you receive a profit and loss statement and balance sheet. It works alongside QuickBooks Online or replaces spreadsheets outright, and handles catch-up work when you are months behind. Bookkeeping starts around three hundred dollars a month for cash-basis books, five hundred adds accrual and payables reconciliation, seven hundred and fifty covers job costing, inventory and payroll accounting, and multi-entity is scoped individually. Tax filing and advisory are priced separately on top. Uplinq Inc. operates from Scottsdale, Arizona and publishes a SOC 2 Type II report.

Pros & cons of Uplinq
A managed bookkeeping service with software underneath, not a tool you operate yourself, and priced accordingly. The tiering is honest about what changes between plans, and accrual accounting, payables reconciliation and job costing are clearly separated. Budget for stacking: books, filings and advisory are three separate bills.
Pros
- Continuous categorisation and monthly reconciliation with human review
- Works with QuickBooks Online instead of forcing a migration
- Clear tier boundaries: accrual, payables, job costing and payroll each named
- Catch-up bookkeeping for businesses behind on their books
- SOC 2 Type II with a live report link
Cons
- Entry price of $300 a month is well above self-serve accounting software
- Tax filing and tax advisory are billed separately from bookkeeping
- No free trial and no self-serve signup, only a booked demo
- Web only, with no API for pulling your own data
Best for
- Small businesses that want books maintained rather than software to run
- Companies months behind who need catch-up work done
- Firms needing accrual books, job costing or multi-entity consolidation
Not for
- Solo freelancers whose bookkeeping fits in a spreadsheet
- Anyone looking for self-serve accounting software at software prices
Watch out: The bookkeeping tiers, tax advisory packages and per-return filing fees are three separate line items, so a business needing all three lands far above the $300 headline.
