No standalone price: the assistant ships inside Intuit products. QuickBooks pages state that Intuit Intelligence and certain other AI features are 'currently available at no additional cost at this time' to certain QuickBooks Online users in the US, with pricing subject to change and the feature discontinuable at any time; the free QuickBooks plan excludes it, so in practice it starts with Simple Start at $38/month (shown at $19 for the first three months). Credit Karma is free; TurboTax is priced per return.
Use tool ↗About Intuit Intelligence
Intuit Intelligence — launched in 2023 as Intuit Assist — is the assistant layer inside Intuit's own products rather than a standalone app. In QuickBooks Online it drafts batches of invoices for review, sends prioritised payment reminders, learns how you categorise transactions and flags tax-readiness gaps, and its chat can turn everyday-language instructions into scheduled automations; in TurboTax and Credit Karma it answers questions against the filer's or member's own data. It works on the transaction data already held in each account, with human experts reachable from the same interface, and is currently included at no additional cost for eligible QuickBooks Online customers in the United States. The vendor is Intuit Inc.

Pros & cons of Intuit Intelligence
Intuit Intelligence — the name Intuit now uses for what launched as Intuit Assist — is only interesting if you already live in QuickBooks, TurboTax or Credit Karma: it drafts invoices and payment reminders, learns your categorisation habits and answers questions against the ledger you already keep there. It is not a product you can buy or evaluate on its own, and Intuit's own fine print says the no-extra-cost status can end at any time.
Pros
- Works on the transaction data already in the account, so there is nothing to connect or upload
- Currently included at no additional cost for eligible QuickBooks Online customers
- Covers invoicing, payment reminders, categorisation and tax readiness inside the product, with mobile support
- Backed by Intuit Inc., with human experts reachable from the same interface
Cons
- Not available standalone; value is capped by which Intuit product you use
- Intuit reserves the right to charge for it or discontinue it without notice
- Feature availability differs by plan and QuickBooks access is limited to US customers
- The original Intuit Assist landing page is a stale 2023 launch page, which makes the current scope hard to pin down
Best for
- Small businesses on QuickBooks Online who want invoices, reminders and categorisation handled from a chat prompt
- TurboTax and Credit Karma users who want plain-language answers about their own numbers
Not for
- Anyone not already paying for an Intuit product — there is nothing standalone to buy
- Businesses on Xero, FreshBooks or spreadsheets looking for a bolt-on bookkeeping assistant
Watch out: Launched as Intuit Assist; QuickBooks pages now call it Intuit Intelligence. The no-extra-cost wording applies to 'certain QuickBooks users' and can be withdrawn, so do not budget on it staying free.
