Hyperbrowser rents headless browsers and sandboxes that AI agents and scrapers drive remotely. You create a session over a REST API or the Python and Node SDKs and attach Playwright, Puppeteer or Selenium to it; the platform handles stealth settings, proxy routing, multi-region placement, CAPTCHA handling, ad blocking, persistent profiles, static IPs, session recordings and a live view you can watch or click into. On top of raw sessions it exposes fetch, search, scrape and extract endpoints plus agent runners including HyperAgent, Browser Use and OpenAI computer-use models. Everything is metered in credits worth $0.001: browser time is $0.10 an hour, a plain page fetch $0.001, an agent step $0.02, proxy data $10 a gigabyte.
1 credit = $0.001. Browser usage 100 credits/hour ($0.10/hr), proxy data 10,000 credits/GB ($10/GB), fetch or scrape 1 credit/page, search 5 credits/query, AI extract $30 per million output tokens, agent step 20 credits ($0.02). Credits come from a subscription or a direct purchase that expires after 12 months; the subscription tier prices render client-side and were not legible to us.
Use tool ↗Hyperbrowser is infrastructure and is priced like it: a published per-unit rate card rather than a plan you have to guess at. Sessions, scraping endpoints and agent runners share one credit balance, which makes cost modelling straightforward until proxies enter the picture - proxy data at $10 a gigabyte will dominate any scraping bill. The subscription tiers are the one thing the site would not show us.
Watch out: Agent steps bill on top of the session they run in, so a $0.02 step also carries its share of the $0.10-an-hour browser time.
