A macOS-only browser that logs into your existing accounts and completes multi-step tasks on its own.
Aside is an AI browser, not a plugin bolted onto an existing one, that carries out tasks across websites you're already logged into — filling forms, working inside email and internal tools, and completing multi-step jobs that can run for minutes or hours. It's built by Aside Computer Inc., a Y Combinator-backed startup based in San Francisco. The desktop app currently requires a recent version of macOS, with no public Windows build yet; a Chrome extension is also available. Pricing runs free for basic daily tasks with 500 monthly credits, $20 a month for roughly 3x that usage, and $200 a month for a high-volume Max tier.
Free tier gives 500 monthly credits; Pro is $20/month for roughly 3x the free usage; Max is $200/month for roughly 40x, with a 20% discount for annual billing.
Use tool ↗Aside's angle is that automating a web task doesn't require an API integration with every tool — it just needs a browser that can act like you're already logged in and click through the same steps you would. That's a real capability, but macOS-only availability shuts out a large share of business users for now, and letting a browser act on logged-in accounts raises real questions about mistakes on sensitive actions.
Watch out: Because Aside can act on already-logged-in accounts, review its permissions and confirmation settings before letting it touch anything involving payments or outgoing messages.
