Use tool ↗About AICodeConvert
AI Code Converter is a single-page web tool. Paste a snippet, pick a source and target language, and it rewrites the code; a second mode generates code from a plain-English description instead. The language list runs past fifty and reaches beyond the usual Python, JavaScript, Java and C++ into Assembly, COBOL, Fortran, Lisp, Matlab and even Morse and hex. It runs without an account and charges nothing. The site is a Next.js app on Vercel with no company name, terms page or contact address anywhere on it, and no API. Directory listings date it to mid-2023. Treat the output as a first draft — nothing here compiles or tests what it produces.

Pros & cons of AICodeConvert
Useful for exactly one thing: getting a rough port of a short snippet into a language you do not write, without signing up for anything. The unusually wide language list, including dead and esoteric ones, is what sets it apart from the coding assistants. Beyond a screenful of code it stops being useful, and there is nobody named behind it to ask when it breaks.
Pros
- No account, no card, no install — paste and convert
- More than fifty languages, including legacy ones most tools skip
- Second mode generates code from a plain-English description
Cons
- No company, terms or contact published anywhere on the site
- Snippet-scale only, with no project or file handling
- No API and no way to script it
Best for
- Porting a short function into an unfamiliar language
- Reading legacy COBOL, Fortran or Assembly by converting it to something modern
- One-off conversions where installing an assistant is not worth it
Not for
- Whole-file or repository migration
- Any work where the output must be verified, since nothing is compiled or tested
Watch out: There is no identifiable operator and no terms page, so do not paste anything proprietary into it.
