Generates a mind map from a prompt, then expands and edits it by chatting with the map, priced in credits.
WiseMap builds a mind map from a few keywords, then lets you expand branches, discuss the structure in chat, generate a background image, and edit every node by hand. You can start without an account - guests get 100 credits and one map, registering raises that to 200 credits and three maps. Paid credits lift the map limit entirely: $5 a month for 2,000 credits, $20 for 10,000, or one-off packs at $6 and $24 that never expire. Registered users can publish maps publicly and earn credits when someone copies them. The tool is built in public by an independent developer known as Twidi, who streams the work on Twitch and runs a Discord for it.
Standard $5/month for 2,000 credits, Premium $20/month for 10,000. One-off packs at $6 for 2,000 credits and $24 for 10,000 never expire. Guests get 100 credits and one map; signing up gives 200 credits and three maps. Roughly five credits per AI action.
Use tool ↗Refreshingly direct - you can generate a map before creating an account, and the credit table is published action by action so nothing is hidden. Non-expiring one-off packs suit people who mind-map in bursts rather than daily. It is an indie project built live on stream, which shows in both the charm and the thin operational guarantees.
Watch out: Credits are consumed by AI actions, not by making maps - manual editing and map creation cost nothing, so budget around expansions and image generation.
