Browser-based diagramming tool with smart shapes, real-time collaboration, and AI code generation from sketches.
DGM is a web diagramming tool built by MKLabs, the South Korean company behind the UML modeler StarUML. It offers smart shape libraries for UML, ERD, and flowcharts, a sketch mode for freehand notes, real-time multiplayer editing, and a Vision AI feature that reads a diagram or sketch and generates matching code. Local files are free forever, including image export and access to public shape libraries; using DGM's cloud storage adds document limits and version history. A paid tier is announced as coming soon but is not yet purchasable.
Only a free tier is live today: unlimited local use, 3 documents in the cloud, and 7 days of revision history. A paid plan is listed as coming soon with no price shown yet.
Use tool ↗DGM is worth a look for anyone who wants a free diagramming canvas with real-time collaboration and doesn't mind that cloud storage is capped until a paid plan ships. The Vision AI code-generation feature is the differentiator versus older diagram tools, though it is unproven at scale since the product is still in beta.
Watch out: Cloud documents are limited to 3 with 7 days of history, so back up anything important separately until a paid tier exists.
