Trello is Atlassian's kanban tool: lists of cards you drag between columns, with due dates, checklists, attachments, automation rules and a plugin system for tying in other apps. The AI layer sits on top of that rather than replacing it - describe a goal and get a ready-made board back, summarise a long card description or comment thread, generate checklists and images, merge duplicate cards, and pull tasks in from email and Slack through an Inbox. Free covers unlimited cards for up to ten collaborators per workspace. Standard is $5 per user a month billed annually, Premium $10 and Enterprise $17.50, with the calendar, timeline and dashboard views arriving at Premium.

The limits are the old ones: a board is a board, and anything needing dependencies or resourcing outgrows it.
Watch out: AI features are tied to the paid tiers and to Atlassian Intelligence availability, so what the free plan gets is not what the marketing shows.
