Use tool βAbout Superset
Superset is an agent-orchestration IDE. For each task it creates an isolated workspace and starts the coding agent you choose, such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor Agent or Gemini, so dozens of agents can work in parallel without touching each other's changes. You review diffs and comments in one place, schedule recurring automations, connect to remote machines over SSH and follow runs from a phone app. It does not proxy model calls, so you use your own agent subscriptions. The code is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0; Superset Inc. runs the paid team features.

Pros & cons of Superset
Superset suits developers who already pay for one or more command-line coding agents and want a single workspace to run, isolate and review many tasks at once. It is a coordination layer, not a model provider, and the platform support is still narrower than a mainstream editor's.
Pros
- Works with a long list of agents rather than locking you to one
- Free tier covers individuals with the desktop app and CLI
- Each task runs in its own workspace, which keeps changes separated for review
- Remote access and a mobile app let you check on long-running agents
Cons
- No Windows version, and the Linux build is labelled experimental
- Source-available under the Elastic License 2.0, not a standard open-source license
- Model costs are separate, because you bring your own agent subscriptions
Best for
- Engineers running several coding agents on parallel features and bug fixes
- Teams that want shared automations and remote workspaces around their agents
- Developers who want to mix agents from different vendors in one workflow
Not for
- Windows users, since there is no Windows build yet
- Anyone without an existing coding-agent subscription or API keys to plug in
Watch out: The Elastic License 2.0 forbids repackaging Superset itself as a service you sell, which matters if you plan to build a product on the code. Pro is billed per active seat, and the $15 price assumes annual billing.
