What our research says

Profound

Profound is the enterprise end of AI-visibility measurement: it covers more answer engines than most rivals, adds crawler analytics and ChatGPT Shopping that the cheaper trackers lack, and has the funding and customer list to still exist next year. The price is the reason to hesitate - there is no published figure, the free trial is seven days of fifty prompts, and the self-serve agency plan exists only as a line in the FAQ. Mid-market teams will get most of the signal from a tracker with a public price; brands with real budget and a procurement team are the audience here.

Pros

  • Tracks up to nine answer engines, including AI Overviews, Copilot and DeepSeek, not just ChatGPT
  • Agent Analytics shows which AI crawlers visit and cite the site, a layer most trackers skip
  • Prompt Volumes estimates real user questions rather than relying on your own prompt list
  • SOC 2 Type II, SSO and an API, so it passes enterprise review

Cons

  • No published price; the only listed plans are a free trial and a custom Enterprise contract
  • Trial is 7 days, 50 prompts and three engines, with no exports or history
  • No legal entity, address or terms page found on the site
  • The agency plan is named in the FAQ but not in the plan table

Waikay

Waikay is more opinionated than most AI visibility trackers because of where it came from: the InLinks team built an entity and topic engine first, so results are organised by topic coverage instead of a flat list of prompt mentions. Fact-checking what models assert about you is the feature that justifies the subscription, since a wrong answer repeated at scale is worse than no mention. Prompt quotas are tight at the bottom of the ladder.

Pros

  • Covers ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude and Perplexity Sonar in one dashboard
  • Fact tracking flags what models get wrong, not just whether you were mentioned
  • Source and citation tracking shows which pages the models actually pull from
  • Topic-level grouping and entity mapping inherited from the InLinks toolset, plus APIs and 13 languages

Cons

  • Prompt quotas are the real limit and 120 a month on the entry team tier goes fast
  • The $24.95 early-adopter rate is a promotion, not the standard entry price of $69.95
  • Action plan counts are capped separately from prompts, so remediation is rationed
  • AI answer monitoring is inherently noisy; results move as models are updated

Which one fits

Choose Profound if you need

  • Enterprise marketing teams that need AI-answer share of voice across many engines with exports and an API
  • Retail brands that want SKU-level visibility inside ChatGPT Shopping
  • Agencies managing several clients who can negotiate the workspace-based plan

Choose Waikay if you need

  • Marketing teams that need to prove or disprove AI search visibility to leadership
  • Brands finding that models state something factually wrong about them
  • Agencies already using entity and topic-based SEO methods
