Use tool ↗About Nametastic
Nametastic takes a short description of a business idea and returns brandable domain candidates, each checked for real availability across more than fifty extensions including .com, .io, .ai and .app. Every name carries a score for memorability, pronounceability and brand fit, and a deeper research mode spends extra credits to widen the search. Work is metered in credits: a standard generation costs two, deep research three, a plain business-name run one. Signup gives two free credits, credits can be bought outright at $0.25 each, and the Pro and Premium subscriptions bundle 40 or 150 credits a month that roll over. It is built by FUTURISTICA d.o.o. in Slovenia.

Pros & cons of Nametastic
Checks availability at generation time, so the shortlist is not padded with names somebody already owns, and scores each candidate rather than dumping a wall of text. The credit accounting is the annoying part: a single search costs two or three credits, so a $9.99 month is fewer runs than it looks. Fine for one naming sprint, thin as a recurring subscription.
Pros
- Availability is verified as names are generated, not after the fact
- Credits roll over on subscriptions and pay-as-you-go credits do not expire
- Each candidate is scored on memorability, pronounceability and brand fit
- Covers 50+ TLDs rather than just .com
Cons
- Credit maths is fiddly: two or three credits per search makes plan capacity hard to read
- No API, so it cannot be wired into an automated naming workflow
- Small Slovenian vendor with no public track record to fall back on
Best for
- founders naming a company or side project
- agencies shortlisting names for a client pitch
- anyone tired of every generated .com being taken
Not for
- teams wanting to script naming into a pipeline
- people who need trademark clearance rather than domain availability
Watch out: Availability is a point-in-time check; a name you liked can be registered by someone else before you get to checkout.
