Converts long documents, PDFs, and web pages into editable mind maps with source citations.
MindMapAny is a web app, with a matching Chrome extension, that turns long-form material — papers, reports, Word files, ebooks, PDFs, and web pages — into a structured, editable mind map instead of a flat summary. Each node keeps a traceable link back to the part of the source it came from, and finished maps can be edited, exported, or shared through a public link. New accounts get 30 free credits, enough to fully process a text or web-page input; longer documents and the higher-quality model draw down a paid plan instead. Paid tiers start at a Basic plan around $5.39 a month for 1,000 credits, rising to $10.79 for Pro and $16.19 for an Unlimited plan under fair use.
The $5.39 figure is the Basic plan's monthly-billed price for 1,000 credits; annual billing cuts all tiers by about 40%.
Use tool ↗MindMapAny's real differentiator is the source-tracing: nodes link back to where in the original document a fact came from, which turns the map into something you can double check rather than just trust. The 30 free credits are enough for a couple of short documents, but processing a genuinely long report or ebook will draw down a paid plan quickly.
Watch out: The higher-quality model option is explicitly billed against your plan even on account types that otherwise feel free.
