Creately VIZ is the AI diagram generator built into Creately, the visual workspace run by Cinergix Pty Ltd in Australia since 2008. You describe a process, structure or idea and it lays out an editable diagram on the infinite canvas rather than a flat image, so the result drops straight into Creately's flowchart, mind map, concept map, ER, BPMN, UML, org chart and wireframe tooling. Because the shapes stay data-linked, generated diagrams can carry notes, owners and records the same way hand-drawn ones do, and export as PDF or SVG. The free plan caps a canvas at 45 items; AI diagramming appears on the paid tiers.
The plans page renders its figures client-side and served none to us, so no entry price is recorded. The ladder is a free-forever plan (unlimited canvases but 45 items per canvas, one folder, two imports), then Starter, Team and Business, with Enterprise and an on-prem edition quoted by sales. AI diagramming is listed on Starter and above, not on Free.
Use tool ↗The point of VIZ over a standalone diagram generator is that the output lands as editable Creately shapes on a canvas your team already collaborates on, not as a picture you have to redraw. The frustration is commercial: the vendor will not show a price without a browser session, and the free plan's 45-item ceiling kills anything past a toy diagram.
Watch out: The dedicated creately-viz URL serves the general Creately platform page rather than a VIZ feature page, so there is no single place documenting what the AI can and cannot generate.
