No standalone plan. Cursor's pricing page lists Grok Bot from its $30/month Premium tier upward (not on Free or the $8 Plus plan); xAI's help centre says SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus and SuperGrok Heavy subscribers can link their plan instead, with usage reset weekly, but x.ai's pricing pages blocked our fetch so SuperGrok prices are not confirmed here.

Overview

About Grok Bot

Grok Bot is xAI's agent product: each named Bot keeps a job, memory and files on a persistent cloud computer with its own browser, filesystem and terminal, so work continues while your laptop is closed. You message a Bot by text, dictation or voice from desktop and mobile apps on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android, or by tagging @bot on X where that is available; Bots can ask for approval before sending a draft, share one cloud computer per account, and run routines and connectors. It is not sold on its own: access comes with any paid individual or Teams plan on Cursor, or by linking a SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus or SuperGrok Heavy subscription, and usage draws from a weekly allowance. xAI's own marketing pages refuse automated readers, so the facts here come from its help centre and Cursor's pricing page.

Editorial verdict

Pros & cons of Grok Bot

medium confidence

Grok Bot has settled into a clear shape since its August launch: persistent named agents on a cloud computer, reachable from native apps on every major OS, bundled into Cursor from $30 a month or into SuperGrok. The persistence is the point — logins, files and memory survive between tasks, and routines run without you — but you buy it as part of a subscription whose weekly usage pool it shares, so heavy agent work can exhaust an allowance meant for chat. xAI's refusal to serve its marketing pages to readers means independent verification still leans on its help centre and on Cursor.

Pros

  • Persistent cloud computer keeps logins, files and memory between tasks
  • Native apps on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android, plus @bot on X
  • Approval step before drafts go out, and routines that run on a schedule
  • Included in Cursor paid tiers from $30 and in SuperGrok plans

Cons

  • No standalone plan; it rides on a Cursor or SuperGrok subscription
  • Usage draws from a weekly pool shared with other Grok products, and xAI publishes no per-tier numbers
  • xAI's product pages block automated readers, so most third-party coverage is second-hand
  • Enterprise access and audit controls for Bots sit only on Cursor Enterprise

Best for

  • Cursor Premium and SuperGrok subscribers who want agents included rather than bought separately
  • Recurring multi-step chores across web apps that lack a clean API
  • Teams that want approval gates and a shared cloud machine for several bots

Not for

  • Anyone wanting a standalone agent subscription with a published per-task price
  • Workloads needing an uptime guarantee or an enterprise support contract outside Cursor Enterprise

Watch out: SuperGrok prices could not be read from x.ai today; the $30 entry point here is Cursor's Premium plan, and Cursor's cheaper Plus plan does not include Grok Bot.
