Stitch is a Google Labs design canvas that turns text prompts, voice, sketches, screenshots or an existing design system into multi-screen mobile and web interfaces. It grew out of Galileo AI, which Google acquired in 2025, and was rebuilt in March 2026 around an infinite canvas, a design agent and clickable prototypes that link screens together. Designs leave as frontend code or DESIGN.md rules, or go on to AI Studio, Antigravity and Netlify, and developers can drive it through an MCP server and an SDK with an API key. It is free with a Google account while it stays a Labs experiment, limited by usage caps rather than paid plans.

Pros & cons of Google Stitch
Hard to argue with free: Stitch produces usable first-draft UI screens, clickable prototypes and frontend code, and since March 2026 coding agents can drive it through an MCP server and SDK. It remains a Labs experiment - usage caps, no support guarantees, and the standalone Galileo AI product it grew from was already shut down once.
