Paste a landing page URL and get a scored design critique across eight categories in seconds
Botroast screenshots the page you point it at and returns a scored critique split into eight named categories — overall feedback, design foundations, visual hierarchy, layout and spacing, colour theory, depth, design assets and fine details — each with a summary, specific items and a numeric score, plus one overall score for the page. Results get a shareable public link and other users can react to them, so finished roasts double as a browsable gallery you can learn from. It is sold in credit packs rather than a subscription, one credit per roast, and there is a separate paid slot for promoting your own design services to visitors. It is an indie project credited on the site to Tim Wheeler, with no company behind it.
Credit packs, not a subscription: $9 buys 1 credit, $19 buys 3 and $29 buys 10, at one credit per roast, each shown against a struck-through anchor of $15, $45 and $150. Signing up through a referral link grants one free roast. A separate $349 slot buys a month of promotion to site visitors with basic analytics.
Use tool ↗A cheap, fast second opinion on a landing page, structured well enough to act on — eight scored categories beat a paragraph of generic advice, and the public gallery of past roasts is useful on its own. Credits mean no subscription to forget about. The limit is fundamental: it is judging a static screenshot, so it cannot see your funnel, your interactions or anything the visitor does after the fold.
Watch out: The struck-through anchor prices of $15, $45 and $150 are permanent page decoration rather than a former price anyone paid.
