Use tool ↗About Formulator
Formulator is a visual builder for one-page websites and UI components. You assemble elements by drag and drop with eleven builder tools, styling them live without writing code, or start from one of its prebuilt templates and components. An AI generator will draft a component or page from a short text prompt or an image, after which you refine it by hand. The output is not locked in: HTML and CSS export is free and unlimited, so what you build can be dropped into an existing codebase. The product is in beta at beta.formulator.app and publishes no pricing.

Pros & cons of Formulator
The distinguishing feature is that it hands back plain HTML and CSS instead of trapping the design in a hosted site, which makes it useful as a component sketchpad next to a real codebase. Everything else is early: beta URL, three templates, ten AI requests, and no visible business behind it.
Pros
- Free unlimited HTML and CSS export, so output is portable
- Eleven direct manipulation builder tools with live preview
- AI generation from a text prompt or an image as a starting point
- Template and component library with 2,000+ font icons included
Cons
- Still in beta with only three prebuilt templates
- AI generation is capped at 10 free requests with no published way to buy more
- No company, country or team named; a single personal email is the only contact
Best for
- Sketching a landing page or component and exporting the markup
- Developers who want a visual step before hand-writing CSS
- One-page sites where a full CMS is overkill
Not for
- Multi-page sites or anything needing a CMS
- Production work that needs a supported vendor
Watch out: No pricing page exists at all, so there is nothing stating what happens after the 10 free AI requests run out.
