Elementor AI is the AI layer inside the Elementor WordPress page builder, now fronted by an agent called Angie. It generates whole page layouts, derives design systems - colours, fonts, reusable Classes and Variables - from a reference, builds Atomic Forms with custom fields, produces archive loops with pagination, and writes custom widget code and snippets. Everything is metered in credits: an AI action costs 1 to 40 credits, image optimisation 10 per image, an accessibility fix 20. A free plan hands out daily-renewing credits. Elementor was founded in 2016 by Yoni Luksenberg and Ariel Klikstein and reports over 22 million active installs.
$49/year is Elementor Pro Essential, the cheapest paid Elementor plan, not an AI-specific SKU. AI credits arrive either through a free daily allowance or bundled with Elementor One (25,000 credits a month) and One Agency (350,000); those two plans did not render a dollar figure for us.
Use tool ↗If you already build on Elementor, Angie is the most direct route from a brief to a styled page, and generating Classes and Variables rather than one-off inline styles is a genuinely useful trick. The credit accounting is the annoyance: nearly every action burns a different amount, and the plans that bundle real credit volume would not show us a price.
Watch out: Credits are consumed by non-AI actions too - 10 per email delivered and 1 per cookie-consent action - so your AI budget quietly funds site plumbing.
