Use tool ↗About ExcelMaster
ExcelMaster is an add-in that works inside desktop Excel rather than asking you to upload a file. It reads the open workbook's structure across sheets, writes VBA for what you asked and runs it in place, covering formulas, charts, cleanup and multi-step workflows, with automatic backup and rollback; Python automation is included from the Pro plan up. Whole files stay on the machine, and only the cell content the agent needs is sent to the AI model, with a choice of GPT and Claude models. It runs on Windows 10 or 11 with Excel 2016 or later, on .xlsx and .xlsm files, and the company lists an address in Austin, Texas.

Pros & cons of ExcelMaster
Running generated code inside the workbook, on your own machine, is the right shape for spreadsheet work: no file upload, no copy-paste of formulas, and VBA output you can inspect. The hard limit is platform, since Mac and Excel for the web are not supported, and everything is credit-metered with only a three-day trial to judge it.
Pros
- Runs inside Excel and executes on the open workbook, not an upload
- Generates VBA and Python you can read and keep
- Whole files stay on the local machine; only the cells the agent needs are sent to the model
- Entry plan is $9.99/month and credit top-ups are cheap
Cons
- Windows and Excel 2016+ only; no Mac, web or Google Sheets
- Only a three-day trial, no free tier
- Agent credits are consumed per task with no published per-task cost
- Company detail is thin beyond a Texas address
Best for
- Windows analysts living in legacy .xlsm workbooks
- Generating VBA without knowing VBA
- Repetitive cleanup on large sheets
Not for
- Mac or Excel-on-the-web users
- Google Sheets workflows
Watch out: Generated VBA executes against your live workbook, so keep a copy before letting it run on anything you cannot rebuild.
