DoNotPay packages consumer-rights chores into form-driven web flows: contesting parking tickets and bank fees, drafting demand letters, cancelling subscriptions, chasing unclaimed funds, claiming warranties and preparing small-claims paperwork. You answer questions and the service assembles the document or submission, and it now leads with a virtual Free Trial Card that declines surprise charges after a trial. The site states it is not a law firm and gives no legal advice. In February 2025 the US Federal Trade Commission finalised an order barring the company from claiming its output stands in for a lawyer, with $193,000 in monetary relief.
