AI legal research and drafting workspace built on Clio's billion-document vLex library.
Clio Work is an AI workspace for legal research, document analysis and case strategy, built by Clio on top of the more than one billion legal documents it gained through acquiring vLex. Lawyers can ask questions against that research library combined with their own firm's matter documents, notes and contacts, and delegate goal-based tasks that the system plans and executes across several steps rather than answering a single query. It covers litigation work (filings, discovery) and transactional work (contracts, policies), runs on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 infrastructure, and does not train models on firm data. Clio Work launched in October 2025 and became a standalone subscription in April 2026, so small firms no longer need Clio's practice-management product to access it. Clio is run by Themis Solutions Inc, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
Standalone subscription is $199 per user per month, with no requirement to also subscribe to Clio's practice-management product.
