Pricing

- Paid
Priced in euros only: Lite €19 a month (100 build credits, 2 projects, subdomain only), Pro €49 (250 credits, 5 custom domains, 3 seats), Business €99 (600 credits, 10 seats); Enterprise is quoted. The free start only produces a build plan — building, deploying and exporting need a paid plan; extra credits sell as one-time packs. No USD price on the vendor's page.
Use tool ↗About Chattee
Chattee turns a written description into a working full-stack web app — database, login, multi-role permissions, approval workflows — and hosts it, with custom domains from the paid tiers up. The generated code can be edited directly in the builder or exported and deployed on your own servers, which is the answer to the usual lock-in objection in this category. Templates cover form builders, admin dashboards and SaaS landing pages, and agencies can white-label what they ship. It is run by Anwendo GmbH in Freiburg, Germany, which is why the plans are priced in euros and the site leads with GDPR. Builds consume credits, and the tiers differ mainly in credits, projects, storage and seats.

Pros & cons of Chattee
Chattee's differentiator is not the generation quality — everyone claims that — but that you can export the code and walk away, and that a German GmbH is on the hook for the data. Roles and approval workflows out of the box put it closer to internal-tool builders than to landing-page generators. The credit ceiling on the entry plan is low enough that serious iteration pushes you to Pro fast.
Pros
- Generates database, authentication, roles and approval workflows, not just a UI
- Code export with self-hosting is supported, so the generated app is not trapped in the platform
- Direct code editing for developers alongside the prompt loop
- Custom domains and SSL from the Pro tier, white-labelling for agencies
Cons
- No free tier — evaluation is a time-limited trial
- 100 build credits on Lite goes quickly, since each rebuild spends credits
- Charged in euros, so the dollar cost moves with the exchange rate
- No public API and the company publishes little beyond the legal notice
Best for
- Internal tools that need roles, approvals and a database rather than a static page
- EU teams that need a German data-protection story on the hosting
- Agencies white-labelling small client apps
Not for
- Teams wanting a free tier to evaluate on
- Complex products where hand-written architecture matters more than generation speed
Watch out: Builds are metered in credits, not time — an app that needs a lot of iteration can outrun a tier's credit allowance well before the month ends.
