What our research says

AutoCalls

AutoCalls is priced for small businesses and agencies rather than call centres: $34 a month buys a working agent and two hours of calls, the overage rate falls sharply up the ladder, and the models, voices and transcription are already inside the per-minute price, so there are no separate AI bills to reconcile. Its GDPR documentation names the Romanian operating entity in detail. What you are really buying is minutes, and the monthly list prices rose this autumn, so model your call volume before choosing a tier.

Pros

  • All-inclusive minutes: model, voice and transcription costs are bundled, with no third-party API keys
  • Overage falls from $0.20 to $0.09 per minute on the Agency tiers
  • REST API, webhooks and a Claude and ChatGPT connector alongside the no-code builder
  • White-label tier with client sub-accounts, own domain and own Stripe billing, without revenue share
  • Named EU operating entity with detailed GDPR controller and processor documentation

Cons

  • Minute bundles run out fast; the headline monthly price is not the real cost
  • Monthly list prices are now about a quarter higher than the yearly rate, which requires a year's commitment
  • Language and integration counts are vendor claims we could not audit

Synthflow

Synthflow targets companies and BPOs that want to automate a real volume of phone calls with testing and QA around the agents. Small businesses wanting a cheap receptionist bot, or developers wanting pay-per-minute experiments, will find the $30,000 entry point too high.

Pros

  • Own telephony network as well as SIP trunking
  • Built-in simulated-call testing and automatic QA
  • Visual flow builder plus API and CRM integrations
  • Covers both voice and chat agents

Cons

  • No published self-serve plan or per-minute rate
  • Minimum annual contract of $30,000
  • Pricing depends on scoping with sales
