What our research says

Assindo

The pitch is that an agent should not require a server room, and the feature list backs it: calls in and out, web research, social posting and scheduled tasks, all from a phone app with a web console beside it. That breadth is genuinely unusual at 20 dollars a month. The pricing story is the problem — the website and the App Store quote very different numbers for the same plans, and the seller of record on Apple's listing is a different company name than the site's.

Pros

  • Handles inbound screening and outbound calling, not just messaging
  • Web research, social posting and recurring task scheduling in the same assistant
  • Runs on iOS, Android and a web console with nothing to self-host
  • Seven-day trial on every tier
  • Enterprise tier adds API access and custom tool integrations

Cons

  • Website prices and App Store in-app prices disagree by a wide margin
  • The App Store seller of record is a different company name than the site's footer
  • No API below the enterprise tier
  • Legal terms are hosted on a third-party notes page rather than on the product domain

Lindy

Lindy is for a business team that wants agents acting on real inboxes and calendars this week, with the plumbing to 1,500 apps already done; the skills library and meeting recorder make it closer to a junior colleague than a Zapier flow. The bill is credits per active user, and the free plan is now a seven-day trial rather than a standing tier, so a solo user who wants to run one automation for free should look elsewhere. Engineers who want to own the orchestration will find the canvas limiting.

Pros

  • Trigger-and-steps builder with 40+ reusable skills, no code required
  • Agents can send email, schedule, join meetings and operate a browser on Pro and above
  • 1,500+ integrations plus MCP server support
  • Credits are pooled across the team and top-ups are priced plainly at $10 per 1,000
  • Enterprise tier offers HIPAA with a signed BAA, SSO, SCIM and audit logs

Cons

  • Billing is per active user plus credits, so cost rises with both seats and volume
  • The free plan is a 7-day, $50-credit trial, not an ongoing allowance
  • No yearly pricing or public API is shown on the pricing page
  • Legal entity is Crivello Corp in Oregon, named only in the terms

Which one fits

Choose Assindo if you need

  • People who want one assistant handling calls, research and posting rather than three tools
  • Users who prefer a hosted agent to running one themselves
  • Anyone who wants the same assistant on iPhone, Android and the web

Choose Lindy if you need

  • Sales, support and ops teams automating email triage, follow-ups and scheduling
  • Founders who want one agent across Gmail, Slack, Notion and HubSpot without hiring an integrator
  • Teams that record and query their meetings and want the notes to trigger actions
