What our research says

aiOS

The interesting choice here is the interface: no dashboard to learn, just a thread in the messaging app you already use, with brand memory carried between requests. For a solo operator that removes most of the setup cost of agent tooling. The trade is message metering — a busy week eats the bundle, and the value depends entirely on how well the routing picks the right model and skill.

Pros

  • Reachable from iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram and the web rather than a single app
  • Routes between Anthropic and OpenAI models plus a skills library instead of one fixed model
  • Unused messages roll over up to three times the monthly bundle
  • Connects to Shopify, Gmail, Meta, Slack, HubSpot and Stripe out of the box

Cons

  • Message metering makes the real monthly cost hard to predict
  • The five-message sample is a taste, not a free tier you can evaluate with
  • No API, so it cannot be wired into anything else
  • AI Genesis LLC publishes little about its team or track record

Lindy

Lindy is for a business team that wants agents acting on real inboxes and calendars this week, with the plumbing to 1,500 apps already done; the skills library and meeting recorder make it closer to a junior colleague than a Zapier flow. The bill is credits per active user, and the free plan is now a seven-day trial rather than a standing tier, so a solo user who wants to run one automation for free should look elsewhere. Engineers who want to own the orchestration will find the canvas limiting.

Pros

  • Trigger-and-steps builder with 40+ reusable skills, no code required
  • Agents can send email, schedule, join meetings and operate a browser on Pro and above
  • 1,500+ integrations plus MCP server support
  • Credits are pooled across the team and top-ups are priced plainly at $10 per 1,000
  • Enterprise tier offers HIPAA with a signed BAA, SSO, SCIM and audit logs

Cons

  • Billing is per active user plus credits, so cost rises with both seats and volume
  • The free plan is a 7-day, $50-credit trial, not an ongoing allowance
  • No yearly pricing or public API is shown on the pricing page
  • Legal entity is Crivello Corp in Oregon, named only in the terms

Which one fits

Choose aiOS if you need

  • Solo founders and small brands with no marketing headcount
  • People who would rather text a request than learn another dashboard
  • Shops that want content, support replies and outreach from one subscription

Choose Lindy if you need

  • Sales, support and ops teams automating email triage, follow-ups and scheduling
  • Founders who want one agent across Gmail, Slack, Notion and HubSpot without hiring an integrator
  • Teams that record and query their meetings and want the notes to trigger actions
