AniEraser was Wondershare's tool for erasing watermarks, glare, shadows, passersby, text and other unwanted elements from images and video, sold as web, desktop and mobile apps under the Media.io brand. Wondershare announced its retirement: paid subscriptions and renewals stopped on 22 September 2026 and the service is due to go offline on 22 October 2026, with account data deleted afterwards. The product's home address already forwards to Media.io's own AI object remover, which now covers the same erase-and-fill job inside Wondershare's wider subscription, and only the old web app shell still loads.
