Voice-Swap

The licensing is the product. Anyone can swap a vocal these days; far fewer can hand you a named artist or voice actor whose model is cleared for commercial release, with the IP position written down. Pricing in pounds with VAT on top and no free tier makes the first step slightly awkward.

Pros

  • Voice models are licensed from named professional talent, not scraped
  • Singing Studio combines voice swap with stem separation in one place
  • Custom model training with stated ownership and IP terms
  • One-off credit pack for occasional use instead of a forced subscription
  • Named UK legal entity

Cons

  • No free tier, so quality cannot be judged before paying
  • Priced in GBP with VAT added at checkout, so USD cost is approximate
  • 50 credits at the entry tier is a small allowance
  • No API for pipeline integration

Voicemod

Still the default voice changer for Discord and stream setups, and the free tier is usable — but the company has stopped publishing prices, which is an odd thing for a consumer app to do.

  • Operates at the system audio level, so any application picks it up without integration
  • Free tier is genuinely usable, just on a rotating subset of voices
  • VoiceLab allows custom voices rather than presets alone

Cons

  • No pricing page on the site — the price only appears after installing
  • Windows and macOS only
  • Free tier rotates its voice selection and caps you at one soundboard
  • Real-time processing adds noticeable CPU load on weaker machines
