Suprmind vs TypingMind

Two fact sheets from our own research, side by side — pricing, platforms, API access and status re-checked by us rather than quoted from the vendors. Suprmind publishes a starting price ($19); TypingMind does not. Only TypingMind has a free tier.

What our research says

Suprmind

Most multi-model tools fan a prompt out and show you four answers side by side. This one chains them, so each model argues with what the last one said, and the debate and red-team modes make that explicit. For a decision you are going to defend in writing, that plus templated export is a genuinely different workflow. The cost is that you are paying a markup on models you may already subscribe to, and only the 195-dollar tier lets you bring your own keys.

Pros

  • Sequential mode means each model reads and responds to the earlier answers
  • Debate, red-team and first-principles modes on top of the default flow
  • Project workspaces with file uploads and per-plan size limits
  • Export to more than twenty document templates as Markdown, PDF or DOCX
  • Seven-day trial with no card, and bring-your-own-keys on the top self-serve tier

Cons

  • Entry tier is limited to four providers and six models, and locks the extra modes
  • Bring-your-own-keys only appears at 195 dollars a month
  • No API, so this cannot be wired into anything else
  • The company names no legal entity or country; billing runs through a third-party merchant of record

TypingMind

The right buy if you already pay for API credits and resent a second $20/month subscription per model vendor. Pointless if you only use one model casually, because the raw ChatGPT or Claude app is free and better integrated.

Pros

  • One-time personal licence instead of a recurring fee is genuinely rare in this category
  • Model coverage is broad, including self-hosted OpenAI-compatible endpoints
  • Teams edition covers SSO, RBAC and audit logs, which most BYOK front ends do not

Cons

  • You pay token costs on top of the licence, so heavy use is not cheaper than a flat subscription
  • Feature parity with vendor apps always lags after a model launch
  • Desktop presence is mostly a browser install rather than a full native app

Which one fits

Choose Suprmind if you need

  • Decisions where a single model's confident wrong answer is expensive
  • Analysts who need the reasoning exported as a document, not a chat log
  • Anyone who wants adversarial review built into the prompt flow

Choose TypingMind if you need

  • Heavy users who want one window across OpenAI, Anthropic and Google keys
  • Teams that need shared prompts and preset keys without giving everyone a seat on each vendor
  • People who want chat history in their own browser or storage rather than a vendor account
