What our research says

Cabina.AI

Cabina.AI's real value is not re-litigating which model is best every time you open a new tab for GPT, Claude, or Gemini — it is one workspace with all of them behind one subscription. The bundled image, video, audio, and data tools are convenient but are unlikely to match dedicated single-purpose tools in each category.

Pros

  • Access to 25+ models from one subscription instead of several separate ones
  • Pay-as-you-go option starting around $3 for people who do not want a subscription
  • Bundles adjacent tools such as image, video, transcription, and basic data analysis in the same account

Cons

  • A wrapper around other companies' models, so it inherits their outages and rate limits
  • Token-based plans make heavy usage harder to predict than flat unlimited pricing
  • Company discloses limited corporate detail beyond first-name-only founder credits

TypingMind

The right buy if you already pay for API credits and resent a second $20/month subscription per model vendor. Pointless if you only use one model casually, because the raw ChatGPT or Claude app is free and better integrated.

Pros

  • One-time personal licence instead of a recurring fee is genuinely rare in this category
  • Model coverage is broad, including self-hosted OpenAI-compatible endpoints
  • Teams edition covers SSO, RBAC and audit logs, which most BYOK front ends do not

Cons

  • You pay token costs on top of the licence, so heavy use is not cheaper than a flat subscription
  • Feature parity with vendor apps always lags after a model launch
  • Desktop presence is mostly a browser install rather than a full native app

Which one fits

Choose Cabina.AI if you need

  • People who already pay for multiple AI chat subscriptions and want to consolidate them
  • Users who want to compare answers from different models on the same prompt
  • Casual users happy with a cheap pay-as-you-go entry point

Choose TypingMind if you need

  • Heavy users who want one window across OpenAI, Anthropic and Google keys
  • Teams that need shared prompts and preset keys without giving everyone a seat on each vendor
  • People who want chat history in their own browser or storage rather than a vendor account
