Sonar's AI line adds agentic analysis that inspects code while it is being generated instead of after the PR opens, cross-file bug detection using a cached project index, a remediation agent that fixes findings and opens pull requests once verified, Gitar for review-and-fix loops until the build passes, and SonarSweep for cleaning up LLM output. Cloud has a permanent free tier capped at 50,000 lines on private projects; the Team plan starts at $34 a month. The vendor is SonarSource Sarl in Switzerland.

The catch is that the AI agents sit on top of a platform you have to adopt wholesale, and the free tier's 50k-line cap runs out quickly on a real repo.
