Pros

Cons

  • Generated distractors on technical subjects still need a human pass

TurinQ

Most quiz generators accept a PDF and stop there; TurinQ takes video, audio and photographed handwriting too, which matters if your material is a lecture recording rather than a textbook. Bloom's-taxonomy difficulty control and graded open-ended answers put it closer to an assessment tool than a flashcard toy. At $6 a month it is cheap, but the vendor is small and publishes little about itself.
