Use tool ↗About TurinQ
TurinQ takes source material — a PDF, a lecture video, an audio file, even a photo of handwritten notes — and generates questions from it. You choose among six-plus question types and set the difficulty against Bloom's taxonomy, assemble the questions into a quiz, and let the grader score open-ended answers with written feedback. It also builds spaced-repetition flashcards and lets you ask questions of the uploaded document directly. The site claims support for over 90 languages and about eight input formats. The footer names Invivo Yazilim ve Teknoloji A.S., a Turkish company, and there is a mobile app and a Chrome extension alongside the web app.

Pros & cons of TurinQ
Most quiz generators accept a PDF and stop there; TurinQ takes video, audio and photographed handwriting too, which matters if your material is a lecture recording rather than a textbook. Bloom's-taxonomy difficulty control and graded open-ended answers put it closer to an assessment tool than a flashcard toy. At $6 a month it is cheap, but the vendor is small and publishes little about itself.
Pros
- Accepts video, audio and handwritten notes, not just text documents
- Difficulty is set against Bloom's taxonomy rather than a vague slider
- Grades open-ended answers and returns written feedback
- Chrome extension and mobile app extend it past the web editor
Cons
- Generated questions still need a human pass before they are used for real grading
- The vendor publishes almost nothing about its team, size or history
- Free tier is limited enough that regular use means paying
Best for
- Students turning lecture recordings and notes into self-tests
- Teachers drafting exam papers from existing course material
- Trainers building quick assessments for corporate learning
Not for
- Institutions needing an LMS, gradebook or roster integration
- Anyone who needs the questions to be authored rather than generated
Watch out: Question quality tracks source quality — auto-transcribed lecture audio with poor sound produces questions about things that were never said.
