Zooming, non-linear presentations with AI drafting the structure, plus a mode that puts slides on your webcam.
Prezi replaced the slide deck with a single zoomable canvas: content is placed spatially and the presentation pans and zooms between topics, which makes it easier to jump around mid-talk than a linear deck. Prezi AI drafts structure and layout from a described brief or from an imported PPTX, PDF or DOCX, refines it through chat, applies brand guidelines pulled from a website, and exports back to PPTX or PDF. Prezi Video puts your content beside you on a webcam feed for calls. Prezi Inc. was founded in 2009 by Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai and runs from Budapest and San Francisco. Basic is free with a watermark; paid individual plans are annual-only, from $7 a month.
Individual plans bill annually only: Standard $7/user/month, Plus around $19 and Premium around $29, all billed a year up front, with contracts that auto-renew. Basic is free but watermarks output and includes no AI credits. Third-party pricing guides disagree on the upper tiers, so confirm before buying.
Use tool ↗Prezi is the one presentation tool that is not a PowerPoint clone, and the zooming canvas still earns its keep for talks where you move around a structure instead of marching through it. The AI drafting is competent but it is not the reason to be here. Billing is the irritation: individual plans are annual-only, they auto-renew, and the free tier watermarks everything.
Watch out: Contracts auto-renew and monthly billing is not offered on individual plans — the $7 figure assumes a year up front.
