Credit-metered slide generator that turns a prompt, PDF, Word file, or YouTube link into an editable deck.
Tome App AI generates PowerPoint decks from a text prompt and converts existing material - PDFs, Word documents, even YouTube videos - into slides, adding speaker notes along the way. Everything is metered in credits: the Starter plan carries 1,000 credits a month, Standard 3,000, and Premium 7,500, with the site quoting roughly ten to a hundred and fifty decks a month depending on tier. New accounts get 200 credits to try it. The site names the underlying models it routes to and dates its copyright to Tome, but no legal entity, address, or governing jurisdiction appears in the terms. Despite the name it has no connection to the older tome.app presentation company.
Starter is $9.5/month on annual billing ($15.9 month-to-month); Standard $23.9 and Premium $47.9 on the same annual basis. All tiers are credit budgets, not unlimited seats, and new accounts start with 200 free credits.
Use tool ↗A cheap, workmanlike deck generator with a genuinely useful import path - PDF, Word, and YouTube in, slides out. The pricing is honest about credits rather than pretending plans are unlimited. The problem is provenance: the terms name no company and no jurisdiction, and the product borrows a well-known presentation brand it has nothing to do with.
Watch out: This is not the original Tome presentation company - check which product you are actually signing up for before entering a card.
